Ellie LaFond was a member of the Inferno soccer team from 2007-09, and earned team MVP honors her first and final seasons.

The forward received honorable mention from the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference in '07 and '08 before she became the first soccer player in school history to land a spot on the all-conference first team her senior year.

Upon graduation, LaFond ranked first in Alverno history in points (123) and assists (13) -- both marks are still in the top three five years later -- and still holds the all-time records for goals (55) and game-winning goals (9). Her single-season marks of 47 points ('09) and 19 goals ('08 and '09) remain the top spots in the record book.

LaFond graduated in 2011 with a degree in nursing.
