The Alverno College Office of Athletics Communications promotes and publicizes each of the seven intercollegiate NCAA varsity sports that compete in the Northern Athletic Collegiate Conference (NACC). The primary responsibility of the Office of Athletic Communications is to disseminate information to members of both the print and electronic media, as well as institutions that Alverno competes against. Responsibilities of the Athletic Communications office include many varied duties like press/media relations, editorial releases and feature stories, game and special event programs, newsletters, social media, statistical maintenance and record keeping, web-content management, and collaborative work with Alverno's Marketing and Communications office.

WORD AND STAT CREW ROSTERS:
Word and Stat Crew rosters will be sent out to SIDs before games, but the word rosters can also be found on each team's roster. If you are having trouble obtaining either roster, please reach out to the Athletic Communications Specialist.

LOGO USAGE POLICY:
There are officially recognized logos for Alverno College Athletics, which are available upon request. Use of the Alverno Athletics logo/wordmark is only granted through the Athletics Department. Alverno's HEX and RGB colors are also listed.

Red: HEX: #ef3e42 | RGB: 210, 35, 42

MEDIA COVERAGE:
Any request for media coverage should be made to the Athletic Communications Specialist.

Because seating is limited in press boxes, print media members are advised to request seating at least 48 hours in advance of the athletic contest to be attended.

Radio and television stations are advised to contact the Athletic Communications department at least 72 hours in advance of the event to reserve seating. Since there is limited space available for electronic media, special accommodations may be required. If there is not sufficient space in the press box/press row, preference will be given to commercial radio and television stations.

Due to limited space in the press box/press row areas, only working media members are permitted in the press box. Working media members must contact the Athletic Communications office in advance, as listed above. Special requests may be directed to the Athletic Communications Specialist.

INTERVIEW POLICY:
All interviews should be coordinated through the Athletic Communications office. Players and coaches are available to media throughout the week, but please allow 24 hours' notice. Post-game interviews are coordinated following the event and can be conducted on the fields/court or outside the locker rooms following a cool-down period.

PHOTO POLICY:
ONLY PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHERS or prior approved members shooting for Alverno, the visiting school, or approved media outlets will be issued a sideline pass and the school reserves the right to revoke photography privileges based on sideline conduct during the game.

To gain approval, reach out to the Athletic Communications Specialist.

TELEVISION/RADIO POLICY:
If you wish to provide television or radio coverage of an athletic event at Alverno, please contact the Athletic Communications staff at least 24 hours prior to the event.
