Ashleigh Sagat joined the Inferno softball team in 2011 and played four seasons. Appearing in 133 career contests, she was selected to the All-Conference First Team as a senior, and earned All-Conference Honorable Mention honors as a junior. In addition to her conference accolades, Sagat was selected as the recipient of the Sister Margaret Mary Martin Award and was also the team's Most Valuable Player as a senior.

Sagat is still revered as one of the top hitters in program history and is the program leader with 114 career RBIs. She has the third-highest hit total with 148 for a career .367 batting average, and is second all-time with 14 career home runs. With 94 runs scored in four seasons she is third in program history, while also finishing her career sixth in doubles (27). Also a four year member of the soccer team, she graduated with honors in 2014 with a bachelor's degree in Biology.
