2026 Alverno Cross Country Schedule
MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The Alverno College cross country team has announced its 2026 fall schedule, in its first season as a member of the Coast-to-Coast Conference (C2C). Head Coach
Dom Hudson will begin her third season at the helm and will look to guide her team to consistent improvement throughout the season. The schedule features regional dates hosted in Wisconsin and Illinois, as the team joins UC Santa Cruz, Salisbury, Christopher Newport, Mary Washington, Regent, Johnson and Wales-Charlotte, and Warren Wilson in the C2C.
The season begins for the Inferno at the Rockford invite on Friday, Aug. 28, as they travel to Rockford University. They compete a week later, Friday, Sept. 4, at the Vic Godfrey Open, hosted by UW-Parkside, in a race featuring teams across multiple divisions. The following Saturday, Sept. 12, the team heads to the Ken Weidt Cross Country Classic at Concordia Wisconsin, then gets nearly two weeks off after three straight weekends of competition to start the season. The team wraps up their September schedule at St. Norbert in the St. Norbert Green Knight Open on Friday, Sept. 25, competing at the Shorewood Course, the site of last year's conference championships.
The Inferno opens its schedule in October at the Steve Travis Invitational at Wisconsin Lutheran, racing on Saturday, Oct. 3. The following Friday, Oct. 9, the team heads to Mount Mary for the Women's College Classic, competing against the Blue Angels. The final regular season meet is hosted by Beloit on Saturday, Oct. 17, as Alverno travels to race in the Wisconsin Private College Championships.
The C2C Cross Country Championships are set for Oct. 31 at Salisbury, as they host the championship race at Witner Place Park in Salisbury, Maryland.
