MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The Alverno College softball team will travel to MSOE on Tuesday, April 28, to take on the Raiders at 3 & 5 p.m. in Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) action. The games were originally set for Saturday, April 4 but were postponed after rain throughout the week.

OPPONENT HISTORY:
MSOE leads the all-time series 28-14.
The Raiders have won 18 straight games against the Inferno, dating back to 2016. Alverno last won on April 13, 2016, defeating MSOE 10-5. To that point, the Inferno had won 14 of the 24 meetings, but the Raiders have been the stronger team over the last decade.
SCOUTING THE OPPONENT:
Milwaukee School of Engineering Raiders: 2026 Record (8-25, 5-13 NACC) & 2025 Record (21-23, 15-9 NACC)
MSOE has struggled in 2026 after a solid 2025 campaign, but has won three of its last four games, sweeping St. Norbert last Thursday, April 23, and splitting with Concordia Chicago over the weekend. They have been unlucky in close games as well, losing six one-run games in NACC play.
The Raiders' offense is led by Lylah DeArmond, who is hitting .375 and is third in the conference with 13 doubles, while also adding 17 RBI. Rikka Ludvigson has been great for MSOE as well, homering twice and doubling 10 times with a .371 batting average. Carlee Emery leads the team with three homers and has eight doubles while also hitting .327.
In the circle, Katie Pollock has been fantastic for MSOE, ranking third in the conference with a 1.99 ERA. She is second in the NACC with 112.1 innings pitched and is third with 70 strikeouts. Marissa Collazo has been solid for the Raiders as well, posting a 3.95 ERA over 39 innings, while Brynn Timmer has a 4.28 ERA in 36 innings.
LAST TIME OUT FOR THE INFERNO:
The Alverno softball team traveled to Rosemont on Sunday, April 26, playing at The Stadium at the Parkway Bank Sports Complex, also known as the Ballpark at Rosemont, against Dominican in Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) action. The Stars took the first game by a score of 14-3, before defeating the Inferno 11-0 in game two.
Sophomore
Nadya Hudson (Milwaukee, Wis./Wauwatosa East) had a two-run double in the first inning of game one, while senior
Hailie Eschbach (Kenosha, Wis./Tremper) and
Alyssa Hubli (Kenosha, Wis./St. Joseph Catholic Academy) each had hits.
INFERNO TO WATCH:
Junior
Jaycee Reyes (Tucson, Ariz./Ironwood Ridge) had three hits last week to raise her overall batting average by .020 points, while she also now has a .324 batting average in league action. Along with her batting average, Reyes is tops on the team with a .473 on-base percentage, thanks to a NACC-leading 11 HBP as well as 10 walks.
BY THE NUMBERS:
MSOE's offense currently ranks dead last in the NACC in batting average (.258) and runs scored (103), while their pitching staff is third in the league with a 3.50 team ERA.
Alverno is just ahead of MSOE in batting average (.286) and runs scored (137) in 12
th place, but has only scored one less than Marian this year.
