Imani Stingley Named Head Golf Coach

 MILWAUKEE, Wis.-  Alverno College Director of Athletics Katari Key announced the addition of Imani Stingley as the new Head Golf Coach.  
  
Before Imani brought her talents to Alverno Stingley served as an Assistant Golf Professional/Golf Instructor at Old Natchez Country Club from 2019-2021. In her role she managed the day-to-day operations of golf shop to ensure customer satisfaction by completing daily task of opening the golf shop, stocking merchandise, and completing the daily merchandise sale of $1000 average. Designed marketing materials for over 50 club events to drive participation and sales Created, implemented, and managed training program for 500+ clients requiring organization, adaptability, and knowledge of effective coaching techniques.

"I am pleased to add Imani to our staff. She will be a great addition to our program," said Key.  
 

Imani played on the collegiate level at Tennessee State University and received her bachelor's degree from Cardinal Stritch University in Graphic Design.

A four-year letter winner for Kelly Appleby at Brown Deer High School… served as Honorary Captain as a senior and was named Most Improved Player as a freshman... helped BDHS to a second place finish at Regionals as a junior and advanced to Sectionals in her final two seasons… worked with swing coach Scott Appleby and recorded top-three finishes in several Milwaukee County Tour events… a four-year member and two-year member on BDHS volleyball team, honored as captain as a senior… a four-year letter winner for basketball and was named to the Senior Shooters watch list… played AAU basketball for Playground Elite and Terry Porter Elite… was a part of Jazz Band, Choir, Spanish Club and Robot Team.
