SCOUTING THE OPPONENT:
Edgewood University Eagles – 2026 Record: 7-8 | 2025 Record: 14-25, 9-14 NACC
The Eagles returned to Wisconsin over the weekend but were unable to play their first conference contest of the season. Competing in THE Spring Games the same time as Alverno, the teams had eight common opponents, in which Edgewood went 3-5 in those contests, with wins over Endicott, Keuka, and Maine-Farmington.

Offensively, the team has been carried by the early consistency of Grace Dooley and the power of Lily Mabs. Dooley is leading the team with a .419 batting average, also adding two doubles and seven RBI. Mabs has four homers and six doubles in just 14 games so far, hitting .357 with a .786 slugging percentage and 16 RBI. The four homers are currently tied for the NACC lead.

In the circle, the Eagles have had two reliable arms in Lauren Prigge and Hailie Boardman in 2026. Prigge leads the team with a 3.32 ERA, four wins, two complete games, and 40 strikeouts in 44.1 innings pitched. Earlier this season, she picked up a win over then-No. 13-ranked UW-Stevens Point, throwing nine innings of one-run ball. Boardman leads the team with 46.2 innings pitched and has also nailed down two saves in 13 appearances, all while winning two games as well.

Rockford University Regents – 2026 Record: 6-8, 2-2 NACC | 2025 Record: 20-20, 8-16 NACC
The Regents opened conference play over the weekend, earning a sweep over MSOE, before falling to Dominican in both ends of the doubleheader on Sunday. They take on Marian to begin the weekend in Fond du Lac on March 28, before coming to Milwaukee to take on Alverno on Sunday.

So far this season, Liz Mois has been a force at the plate, hitting .341 while adding nine extra-base hits, tallying four doubles, three triples, and two home runs. Neelah Vandeberg is hitting .306, while Brooklyn Lee currently leads the team with a .414 batting average.

Claire Shanahan has been the team's best arm thus far, leading the team with a 3.71 ERA in a team-high 34 innings of work. She has also struck out 13 batters and has two wins and two completed games in nine appearances and six games started. Kendall Knoll has started seven games on the rubber, winning two games and striking out 26 batters in 31.2 innings. She has a 5.20 ERA in 10 overall appearances.

LAST TIME OUT FOR THE INFERNO:
The Inferno opened up conference play over the weekend, hosting Marian at MATC Field. The team fell in both ends of a doubleheader, dropping the first game 17-5 and the second 13-0.

Sophomore Nadya Hudson (Milwaukee, Wis./Wauwatosa East) continued her strong start to the season, picking up two hits in game one and one in game two, while senior Hailie Eschbach (Kenosha, Wis./Tremper) also had three hits over the doubleheader. Hudson also drove in a run, while both recorded doubles.

INFERNO TO WATCH:
Sophomores Gianna Medrano (Tucson, Ariz./Ironwood Ridge) and Hudson have been fantastic through the first 12 games of the season, both hitting over .400. Medrano is hitting .471 with a team-high 16 hits and seven RBI, while Hudson is hitting .429 with a team-best five doubles.
