MILWAUKEE, Wis. — Alverno College head golf coach and assistant volleyball coach Imani Stingley was a featured panelist at the Girls & Women in Sports Day event hosted by Milwaukee Recreation Youth Sports, where she spoke on the panel titled "Non-Traditional Pathways in Sports."
The panel highlighted professionals working in non-traditional roles across the sports industry and explored how life experiences, personal interests, and career decisions can shape unique and impactful careers. Stingley joined fellow panelists Avyanna Young, Glenna Scholle-Malone, Sallie Gordon, and Terrynn McBride in sharing their individual journeys and offering insight into alternative pathways within sport.
Head volleyball coach Neilee Newton was also at the event to support and make connections with other women in sports in the Milwaukee area.
The event served as a celebration of Girls & Women in Sports Day, providing youth and community members the opportunity to hear directly from women leaders in sport and gain inspiration from their stories.
Stingley's participation reflects Alverno Athletics' continued commitment to leadership, mentorship, and empowering women to pursue careers in athletics and beyond.
