MILWAUKEE, Wis.- The Inferno took on Maranatha Baptist University once again this year in a non-conference match but this time on their home court.

The Inferno fell 3-0 (25-18,25-22,25-20) giving Maranatha the win on the night.

The first set was led by Maranatha as they took a 7-1 lead, but the gap was shortly closed by the Inferno as they battled the rest of the match and kept the final two sets within 5 points.

The team's kills were led by
Rolin West as she totaled 15 along with
Selena Upshur (8) and
Dominique Tetrault (5) who recorded a career high in kills.
Izzy Gianniou soared in double digits with 26 assists on the night. Gianniou also recorded two aces, giving her a new season high.

Along with Gianniou and Tetrault,
Breann Flannery recorded a season high of 20 digs from the back row.
Rolin West followed closely behind with 15 digs on the night.

The Inferno take a few days off before they are back home at Reiman Gymnasium in doubleheader action on Saturday, October 14th to take on Rockford University at 12 p.m. and Mount Mary University at 3:30 p.m.
