Alverno College

2021: Started in all 17 of the team’s matches during her first season with the Inferno…ended the year third on the team with 95 kills…was second on the team with 19 blocks and also amassed 128 digs for third most on the team…opened the season with four kills, two blocks, two assists and 11 digs against Mount Mary (9/1)…picked up five kills and 15 digs in the team’s next match at home against Beloit (9/3)…tallied eight kills and seven digs on the road versus Beloit (9/4)…secured a season-high four blocks in the team’s home match against Edgewood (10/5)...registered a season-best 10 kills to go along with a season-high 19 digs in the team’s four-set road-match at Mount Mary (10/6)…picked up another nine digs and two blocks at home against Illinois Tech (10/9)…tied her season-high with 10 more kills and added three blocks and six digs in conference action at Rockford (10/16)…notched eight kills and seven digs at home in league play against Dominican (10/23)…picked up nine more kills to close out her season while adding three digs and a block against St. Norbert (10/27).

2020-21 (at Benedict): Attended Benedict College in Columbia, South Carolina…the team only played in two countable contests, both losses to Savannah State in late March…started in both of the team’s matches and picked up seven kills, 32 digs and a pair of blocks in her 10 sets played.
 
High School: Graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in New Orleans, Louisiana in 2020…played four years of volleyball for the Lions…was named a Team Captain and also was selected as the team’s top defensive player…was selected to play in the Jefferson vs. Orleans All Star game and was a member of the championship team…also played club volleyball for the Nola Elite 18s.
 
Personal: Daughter of Suzette Upshur…plans to major in Biomedical Science while studying at Alverno.
