MILWAUKEE—Alverno College Soccer fell Sunday afternoon to Westminster by a final score of 9-0.

The Blue Jays came out of the gates shooting at will as they scored two minutes into the first half. Shortly after, the Blue Jays found the net three more times to take make the score 3-0. The Inferno headed into halftime 8-0.

The Inferno kept up the fight in the second half coming close to some chances to score. However, the quick start was enough for the Blue Jays to take the victory 9-0.

"Allison Weick played amazing today." Head Coach Lisa Waltz said. "She is fearless and she made some great saves today."

Alverno will gear up to face UW-Platteville this coming Thursday, Sept. 14 with a kickoff set for 4 p.m.
