MILWAUKEE -- Host Wisconsin Lutheran College handed Alverno College a 7-0 loss Saturday afternoon at Warrior Field in Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference play.

The visiting Inferno (5-2, 1-1 NACC) was outshot 18-5 by Warriors (3-7, 1-1) in the league contest, including 8-1 on goal.

Andrea Binkley fired off Alverno's lone shot on frame and three on the day while Annie Davison had the other two shots for the visitors.

WLC led 3-0 at halftime and then added four scores in the second half.

Next up is a NACC home game versus Edgewood College Wednesday at 4 p.m.
