MILWAUKEE -- Host Alverno College was shut out by visiting Wisconsin Lutheran College 2-0 Saturday afternoon at Alverno Field.

The Warriors (1-8-1, 1-1 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference) scored the go-ahead goal in the 11th minute of play as Olivia Scheiber pushed one to the back of the net. Helen Joyce added an insurance score in the 33rd minute.

Inferno goalkeeper Katelyn Bartlett was a force in goal as she stopped 16 of WLC's 18 shots on frame for an .889 save percentage on the day. It was the third straight game with double-digit saves for Bartlett.

"She brings an amazing attitude and a want to learn," Alverno Head Coach Richard Drake said about Bartlett. "She's really taking a great leap forward this year -- every games she's getting better and better."

Alverno (1-5, 0-2 NACC) heads down to Knox College tomorrow for a nonconference game at 1 p.m.
