MILWAUKEE -- Visiting Concordia University Wisconsin shut out host Alverno College, 8-0, in a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference game Saturday afternoon at Alverno Field.

The seventh-straight win by the Falcons improves their record to 7-2-0 overall (3-0-0 NACC), while the Inferno dropped to 0-7-1 (0-2-0 NACC).

CUW scored four goals in the first 14 minutes, but the Inferno defense then held the visitors scoreless for nearly 53 minutes until Carley Pfannerstill netted her second goal of the game to make it 5-0.

Three more goals would be tacked on in the 71st, 73rd and 74th minutes for the final.

Erica Isaacson fired off the Inferno's only shot on goal in the game's 67th minute.

Kaitlyn Gallinatti recorded 12 saves in all 90 at goal for Alverno.

Alverno continues its four-game homestand versus Concordia University Chicago on Tuesday. Kickoff is at 3 p.m. at Alverno Field.
