MILWAUKEE -- An 8-2 victory completed the 2014 season for Alverno College, topping host Mount Mary University in nonconference action Thursday evening.

Briguite Martinez scored a career-high four goals, Jackie Vanderkolk tallied her third hat trick of the season and Annie Davison added the final tally for the Inferno, who led 6-0 before the Blue Angels (7-10-2) ended the shutout bid in the 74th minute.

Andrea Diaz assisted on three scores, Martinez two, while Hayley Serketich and Vanderkolk each tallied an assist as well to lead Alverno to a season-ending victory for the second-straight season.

The Inferno outshot the Blue Angels 44-6, and put 31 on frame as Becky Onan saved 23 for the hosts.

Kaitlyn Gallinatti had a pair of saves and didn't allow a goal in nearly 70 minutes of action making her final appearance as the Inferno's goalkeeper.

Fellow seniors Brittany Carpenter, Erica Isaacson, Casey Scheibengraber and Amber Thomas also played their final contest in an Inferno uniform.

Alverno concludes the season with a 5-13-1 record, recording victories in three of its final five games.
