RIVER FOREST, Ill. -- Alverno College dropped its final Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference road game of the season, 10-0, Saturday afternoon at Dominican University.

The host Stars (10-7, 6-3 NACC) quickly took the lead in the game's fourth minute as Kelli Iovino scored from 12 yards out.

Dominican would add three more goals in a five minute span, but would be held scoreless for nearly 30 minutes before the second-half offensive pilled on the tallies.

Alverno's best chance to score came in the 67th minute, but Hayley Serketich's shot was saved by the Stars' goalkeeper.

Kaitlyn Gallinatti recorded 14 saves in all 90 minutes at goal for the Inferno (3-13-1, 1-8 NACC).

Alverno concludes the home portion of its schedule with its final league game of the season on Tuesday versus Benedictine University. Kickoff is at 3 p.m. at Alverno Field.
