MEQUON, Wis. -- Host Concordia University Wisconsin blanked visiting Alverno College 7-0 this afternoon in a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference game in Mequon.

The Falcons (5-4-0, 3-0-0 NACC) struck quickly with a score in the first minute, and added two more goals in the opening period for the 3-0 halftime lead. The Inferno defense allowed four more Falcon goals in the second half, including three in a six-minute span late in the game.

Goalkeeper Samantha Robinson recorded nine saves in all 90 minutes in goal for the Inferno (4-3-0, 0-2-0).

Alverno is next in action with another road game on Wednesday at Concordia University Chicago. Kickoff is at 3 p.m. in River Forest, Ill.
