MILWAUKEE -- The visiting Dominican Stars scored the first four goals of the game and defeated host Alverno, 4-1, today at Alverno Field.

The Inferno's lone goal came in the 87 minute as Nava Moniriarani (Oak Creek, Wis.) found Rachel Krueger (Port Washington, Wis.) on a cross to put the Inferno on the board. It was Krueger's fourth goal of the season, and Moniriarani's first assist of 2011.

The Stars (3-3-1, 2-0-1 Northern Athletics Conference) led 2-0 at the half, scoring in the 22nd and 27th minutes. The visitors added goals in the 52nd and 81st minutes before Alverno (2-6, 1-3) ended the shutout.

Alverno plays at Elmhurst on Thursday night in nonconference action. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
