WATERTOWN, Wis. -- The Alverno College women's soccer team lost to host Maranatha Baptist, 5-0, in a Northern Athletics Conference game in Watertown.

The Inferno (4-7, 1-4 NAC) fell behind early as the host Crusaders (4-5, 2-3) scored the first goal of the game before the five minute mark at 4:32. Ten minutes later Maranatha would add to the lead, and then record a third goal in the first period.

Alverno was outshot 19-7, including 14-5 in shots on goal.

The Inferno are next in action this Tuesday as they host Wisconsin Lutheran College at 4 p.m.
