MILWAUKEE -- The Alverno College women's volleyball team dropped a pair of matches this afternoon to take fifth place at the Wisconsin Lutheran Warrior Invite in Milwaukee, Wis., losing the first match, 3-0, to North Park University and the second, 3-0, to Carroll University.

Alverno was without starting setter Kim Reuter (Franklin, Wis.) for both of today's matches.

The Inferno (1-3) split their pair of matches yesterday in the first day of the tournament, defeating North Central University (Minn.), 3-1, and losing to Lake Forest College, 3-0.

Alverno's next match is this Friday, Sept. 5 at 7 p.m. for the Inferno's home-opener against Ripon College.
