Alverno College volleyball student-athlete Sam Korn has been named Alverno Athlete of the Week for events of October 17-23.

Korn recorded 11 assists against Lake Forest, 16 assists verses Concordia Chicago then wrapped up the weekend with 24 assists against Dominican. 

The native from Westby, Wis., holds 339 assists on the season for a 4.29 assists to set ratio. She has also recorded 12 service aces, 13 kills, and 103 digs so far this season. 

Alverno College wrap up the 2017 season Tuesday, Oct. 24 against Wisconsin Lutheran at 7 p.m.
