Junior Dani Herrera of the Alverno tennis team put together a strong weekend for the Inferno in a pair of conference matches.

On Saturday, Herrera matched up against Illinois Tech in the sixth singles and took four games in the second set, falling 6-0, 6-4; earlier in the afternoon she dropped her doubles set by an 8-0 margin.

She followed that up on Sunday with a strong showing in doubles for the Inferno against MSOE, tallying five wins in an 8-5 loss. Later on in singles play, she took a pair of games from the top MSOE singles player but fell by a 6-1, 6-1 score.
