Alverno College student-athlete Gabby Hood has been named Alverno Athlete of the Week for events of Jan. 8-14.

The native from Racine, Wis. scored a career-high 28 points against Aurora University on Wednesday, Jan. 10. Hood also grabbed 12 rebounds for her second double-double on the season. Hood is also three assists shy of collecting her 300th assist. 

Alverno College basketball returns to the court on Tuesday, Jan. 16 as they travel to Rockford University at 7 p.m.
