MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The Alverno College volleyball program will host a Skills Camp for athletes entering grades 9-12 on Sunday, August 9, inside Reiman Gymnasium.
Check-in will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., with camp running from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The camp is designed for players looking to elevate their game through position-specific instruction while developing the techniques, confidence, and volleyball IQ needed to succeed at a higher level.
Led by Head Volleyball Coach Neilee' Newton and current collegiate volleyball players, campers will train in one of four position groups: Outside/Right Side Hitters, Middle Hitters, Setters, or Defensive Specialists. -
Learn how their role fits within offensive and defensive systems.
-
Build confidence through competitive drills and game-like scenarios.
-
