MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The Alverno women's basketball team fell 116- 56 this evening to the visiting Green Knights of St. Norbert College inside Reiman Gymnasium.
 
The Inferno was led by Arlaysia Braggs  who finished with 24 points and seven rebounds. Gemini Ventura  added 22 points and three rebounds. Kyla Jamerson finished with eight points. Raynique Binford contributed two points.  
 
Alverno finished the contest shooting 26.4% (14-of-53) from the floor. The team had a good game at the free throw line shooting 56.8% (25-of-44).
 
The team finished the contest with 38 rebounds and forced 16 turnovers. The Inferno capitalized on ni points off of turnoveners.

Alverno College will host the Scarlet Hawks of Illinois Tech in a  NACC showdown to close out the regular season on Saturday, Feb. 22 at 1 p.m. inside Reiman Gymnasium. The Inferno will honor the basketball seniors for Senior Day.
