MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The Alverno women's basketball team ended the regular season falling 88- 62 this afternoon to the visiting Scarlet Hawks of Illinois Tech inside Reiman Gymnasium. During halftime the Inferno celebrated
Morgan Golabowski during Senior Day.
Morgan Golabowski is an East Troy, Wisconsin native. Golabowski is a Social Work major with a minor in psychology. Golabowski is a guard for the Inferno and has participated in the basketball program for the last four years. During her collegiate career, she has recorded a total of 1,137 minutes played, 55 total assists, 58 steals, 27 blocks, 73 field goals, 140 rebounds and 199 points.
The Inferno was led by
Arlaysia Braggs who finished the season with a double-double performance with 24 points and 14 rebounds.
Gemini Ventura added 13 points and three rebounds.
Kyla Jamerson finished with a double-double performance with 12 points and 10 rebounds.
Raynique Binford contributed fours points.
Alverno finished the contest shooting 33.8% (23-of-68) from the floor. The team had a good game at the free throw line shooting 76.9% (10-of-13).
The team finished the contest with 38 rebounds and forced 13 turnovers. The Inferno capitalized on five points off of turnovers.
