AURORA, Ill. – The Alverno women's basketball team fell 92- 68 this afternoon to the hosting Spartans of Aurora University inside Thornton Gymnasium.
The Inferno was led by
Gemini Ventura who finished with 27 points and three rebounds.
Arlaysia Braggs added her first double-double performance of the season with 22 points and 13 rebounds.
Jasmine James contributed 15 points and five rebounds.
Alverno finished the contest shooting 39.7% (23-of-58) from the floor. The team had a good game at the free throw line shooting 78.9% (15-of-19).
The team finished the contest with 33 rebounds and forced 16 turnovers. The Inferno capitalized on 17points off of turnovers.
