MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The Alverno women's basketball team fell 91- 52 this evening to the visiting Warriors of Wisconsin Lutheran College in Reiman Gymnasium.
The Inferno was led by
Shiauna Nixon-Boyd who finished with another double-double performance of the season with 19 points and 11 rebounds.
Arlaysia Braggs contributed 14 points and nine rebounds.
Kyla Jamerson added seven points and two rebounds.
Jasmine James finished with six points.
AnaCristina Rodriguez-Ross and
Raynique Binford contributed three points each.
Alverno finished the contest shooting 34.5% (19-of-55) from the floor. The team had a good game at the free throw line shooting 52.2% (12-of-23).
The team finished the contest with 39 rebounds and forced 12 turnovers. The Inferno capitalized on eight points off of turnovers.
