Box Score CHICAGO, Ill. – The Alverno women's basketball team fell 82- 61 this afternoon to the hosting Scarlet Hawks of Illinois Tech inside Keating Sports Center.
The Inferno was led by
Shiauna Nixon-Boyd who finished with another double-double performance of the season with 22 points and 13 rebounds.
Arlaysia Braggs contributed 18 points and nine rebounds.
Gemini Ventura added 10 points and five rebounds.
Kyla Jamerson finished with five points.
AnaCristina Rodriguez-Ross, Saray Dominguez-Montiel and
Raynique Binford contributed six points total.
Alverno finished the contest shooting 30.9% (21-of-68) from the floor. The team had a good game at the free throw line shooting 68% (17-of-25).
The team finished the contest with 41 rebounds and forced 14 turnovers. The Inferno capitalized on nine points off of turnovers.
