MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The Alverno women's basketball team fell 75-53 to Buena Vista University this afternoon inside Reiman Gymnasium.
The Inferno was led by
Shiauna Nixon-Boyd who finished with 17 points and five rebounds.
Kyla Jamerson contributed 13 points and nine rebounds.
Gemini Ventura and
Morgan Golabowski added 10 points each respectively.
Alverno finished the contest shooting 26.6% (17-of-64) from the floor. The team had a good game at the free throw line shooting 73.9% (17-of-23).
The team finished the contest with 36 rebounds and forced 32 turnovers. The Inferno capitalized on 19 points off of turnovers.
Alverno returns to action on Wednesday, December 4
th as they open Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference play traveling to Madison, Wisconsin for a matchup against Edgewood College. Tipoff is slated for 7:00 p.m.
