MILWAUKEE – The Alverno volleyball team returned home to Reiman Gymnasium this Thursday, facing one of their toughest conference opponents, St. Norbert College. 
 

St. Norbert gained the early lead, and although Alverno fought back throughout the match, the Green Knights took the win in 3 sets, 25-9, 25-12, and 25-13.  

Alverno's offense was led by senior Rolin West, who had a team-high 11 kills on the evening, and 4 digs. Senior Izzy Gianniou aided the Inferno with 14 assists as well as 3 digs for the defense. Junior Dominique Tetrault also had 4 kills during the match. 

Freshman Rehginae Cosey had 2 big blocks on the night, leading the defense, as well as freshman Iylana Johnson with 4 digs. 

Alverno (3-11, 0-3 NACC) will be back on the road this Saturday evening, October 5th, as the Inferno head to Benedictine University for a 12 p.m. start.
