PLYMOUTH, Wis. --The Alverno College women's volleyball team fell to Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) opponent the Lakeland University Muskies (8-16,6-3 NACC) in three sets (7-25, 13-25, 10-25) Thursday evening on the road inside Woltzen Gymnasium.
The loss dropped Alverno's record to (3-18) overall and 0-9 in NACC action, while LU improves to 8-16 overall and 6-3 in the conference.
Rolin West lead the charge with eight kills and six digs. Izzy Giannniou recorded eight assists.

How It Happened
SET 1 | The Inferno found themselves in an early hole, dropping a tough first set 25-7. Alverno trailed by as many as 10 points as Lakeland never gave up the lead in a set that was knotted up zero times as the Muskies took control.
SET 2 | A 25-13 second-set loss put Alverno behind 2-0 in the match. The Inferno dropped set two despite a solid performance in the set loss.
SET 3 | Alverno couldn't prolong the match and lost in set number three. The Inferno couldn't survive a furious Lakeland rally, losing 10-25.
