RIVER FOREST, Ill. - Alverno Soccer traveled to River Forest, Illinois as the Inferno played Dominican on Saturday afternoon on the West Campus Field, falling by a 6-0 score.

Alverno played a stronger defensive game with a new formation on the back line, allowing
Emily Anguiano, making her goalkeeper debut this season, to make four saves in the effort.

The Inferno was also credited with one shot as freshman
Mamah Konneh put one on frame in her 90 minutes of play.

Alverno will be back on the road for its next game, traveling to Chicago, Illinois for a matchup against Illinois Tech on Wednesday, September 20
th. Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m. at the Stuart Soccer Field.
