Box Score MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The Alverno soccer team played its first road conference contest of the season, visiting Viets Field in downtown Milwaukee, and falling to the host MSOE Raiders by a 9-goal margin.
 
Alverno was led by senior Georgia Wise, who notched 17 saves in the effort and only allowed nine goals.
 
Newcomer Mamah Konneh had a shot for the red and black and played 90 minutes off the bench. Emily Anguiano, Oliva Daugherty, Makynna Gilbert, Alianna Herrera, Ashley Gutierrez-Diaz, Haley Youngblood, along with Yedelmys Ayala, Lylah Wise, and Michelle Machucho Bravo all played in the contest.
 
Alverno (0-3, 0-1 NACC) will next travel to Dominican on Saturday afternoon, for a 12 p.m. start against the Stars at West Campus Field.
