MILWAUKEE, Wis.- The Alverno Inferno basketball team took on UW-Superior in their second game of the 2023-2024 season. The Yellow Jackets of UW-Superior came out on top 72-23 in the non-conference matchup.
 
The young Alverno team, with only two upperclassmen on the roster, was led by freshman Laila Alaramahi who totaled six points in her 23 minutes of court time. Following closely behind was junior Morgan Golabowski and sophomore Morgan Whitten who both put up five points with Golabowski shooting 4-4 at the free throw line. Whitten led the team with two assists and 30 minutes played.
 
Alexia Harris had four points on the day along with two rebounds. Sophomore Kyla Jamerson, in her season debut, scored her first point of the season and also led the Inferno with five total rebounds.
 
The Inferno will be back at home in Reiman Gymnasium on Tuesday, November 21st at 7pm CST as they take on the Blue Angels of Mount Mary University.
