WAUWATOSA, Wis. – The Wisconsin Lutheran women's basketball team defeated the Alverno College Infernos 77-33 Wednesday evening at Recreation Gymnasium. Wisconsin Lutheran improves its overall record to 12-6 and is now 9-2 in NACC conference play. Alverno College falls to 2-15 and 0-11 in NACC play after the loss.
Camiria Sardin had a double-double performance scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds.
Three Wisconsin Lutheran scored in double figures and the Warriors out-rebounded Alverno College 34-30. Meggie Scott added 17 points while Ella Ten Pas contributed 14 points. Sam Leisemann rounded out the double digit scoring 10 points.
The Warriors started out hot in the first half knocking down 71.43 percent of their attempts from the field while connecting on four-of-six from the three-point range. Wisconsin Lutheran held a commanding lead the half led by 50-11 at the.
The Warrior's bench knocked down 20 points while Alverno College's bench only scavenged seven points during the course of the game.
