MILWAUKEE – The Alverno Soccer team returned home after a pair of road matches, as the Inferno played host to the Concordia Wisconsin Falcons on Saturday afternoon on the Alverno Soccer Field, falling by a 6-0 score.

Alverno played a stronger defensive game with a new formation on the back line, allowing junior
Georgia Wise, making her goalkeeper debut, to make 14 saves in the effort.

The Inferno were also credited with one shot as freshman
Monce Cervantes put one on frame in her 28 minutes of play.

Five Inferno also played the full 90 minutes, as seniors
Alo Cervantes,
Ashley Flores, and
Katie Shipley played the full slate along with sophomore
Yedelmys Ayala and freshman
Haley Youngblood. Freshman
Analy Mercado made her home debut after making her collegiate debut on Wednesday, and played 12 minutes.

Alverno will be back on the road for its next two games, beginning with Concordia Chicago on Wednesday, before a trip to Lakeland on Saturday.
