WAUWATOSA, Wis. – The Alverno Soccer team was back in action at the Warrior Soccer Field, as the Inferno paid a visit to the Wisconsin Lutheran Warriors on Saturday afternoon, falling to its host by an 8-0 score.

Freshman
Emily Anguiano continued to add to her season total with 15 stops on the afternoon to give her 127 on the season through the team's first eight contests.

Wisconsin Lutheran found the back of the net four times in each half, opening the scoring in the fifth minute before capping off the afternoon with a strike in the 86th minute of play.

In addition to Anguiano, seven other Inferno played the full 90 minutes for the team including seniors
Alo Cervantes,
Ashley Flores and
Faith Josko, junior
Georgia Wise, along with freshmen
Ashley Gutierrez-Diaz,
Ashley Ibarra and
Haley Youngblood.

Alverno (0-8-1, 0-6-0 NACC) will be on the road again on Wednesday evening, as the Inferno will visit the Benedictine Eagles for a 7 p.m. start at the Benedictine Sports Complex in Lisle, Illinois.
