RIPON, Wisconsin -- Alverno College lost its final two matches at the Red Hawks Invitational to the University of Dubuque and host Ripon College Saturday inside Wyman Gymnasium.

The Inferno (2-13) dropped both contests by 3-0 scores, 25-18, 25-9, 25-16 to the Spartans (5-6) and 25-18, 25-13, 32-30 to the Red Hawks (9-3).

Melissa Weyand led Alverno in the opener with six kills and Cailey Jeske with six digs. Dubuque amassed a .347 attack percentage and limited the Inferno to -.055.

Alverno got the offense going against the tourney hosts with 30 kills led by Jeske's team-leading 10. Sam Korn has a match-best 18 assists and Danielle Schilawski added 10 digs. Jeske just missed out on a double-double with nine digs on defense.

Next up is a home match against Aurora University Wednesday at 7 p.m.
