MEQUON, Wisconsin -- Host Concordia University Wisconsin defeated Alverno College, 3-0, to clinch the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference regular season title Friday evening inside Buuck Fieldhouse.

The Falcons (19-6, 10-0 NACC) won 25-8, 25-14 and 25-8 with an impressive .373 attack percentage in the match

The visiting Inferno (3-24, 1-9) was held to a negative attack and the team's second-lowest kill total of the season with 12 in the final road match of 2016.

Melissa Weyand had a team-best five kills and tied Alyssa Reinke to lead the squad with five digs. Danielle Schilawski tallied a pair of service aces to pull within three of the school record.

Alverno closes out the season tomorrow with a 12 p.m. home contest versus Dominican University.
