Box Score MILWAUKEE -- Alverno College lost a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference match to host Wisconsin Lutheran College, 3-0, Saturday afternoon.
The Warriors (10-14, 2-6 NACC) defeated the visiting Inferno (3-22, 1-7) by scores of 25-14, 25-16 and 25-10.
Alverno was limited to a negative attack percentage in the match as WLC had nine team blocks on the day.
The Inferno defense was limited to just one team block but amassed 49 digs led by Melissa Weyand's season-high 18 while Alyssa Reinke added 14. Jessica Wewers had a team-high six kills.
Next up for Alverno is a home match versus Marian University Tuesday. The 7 p.m. contest is Senior Night were the lone Inferno senior, Danielle Schilawski will be honored.
