MILWAUKEE -- Visiting Wisconsin Lutheran College swept Alverno College, 3-0, Saturday night in Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference action inside Reiman Gymnasium.

The Warriors (8-15, 2-6 NACC) used a balanced attack and a solid block defense to defeat the Inferno (7-18, 0-8) in three sets, 25-15, 25-14, 25-18.

WLC connected for a .184 attack percentage on 35 kills, compared to the Inferno's .000 mark. The visitors also added nine team blocks at the net.

Jessica Wewers led Alverno with six kills on 19 attempts and four blocks, while Meranda Masse had 17 assists on the team's 21 kills.

The Inferno heads up to Fond du Lac for its next match at Marian University Tuesday evening.
