ELMHURST, Ill. -- Alverno suffered its fourth shutout of the season tonight as the Elmhurst Bluejays blanked the Inferno 4-0 in a nonconference contest.

Alverno goalkeeper Samantha Robinson (Pleasant Prairie, Wis./Tremper) recorded 19 saves in the game, but Elmhurst offensive attack proved too much for the Inferno defense.

The host Bluejays held a 24-1 shots on goal advantage in the game, as Nava Moniriarani (Oak Creek, Wis.) recorded the Inferno's lone shot in the contest.

Alverno (2-7) continues road play at Concordia Wisconsin on Saturday in a Northern Athletics Conference game.
