KISSIMMEE, Fla. -- Alverno College managed only one hit in a 3-0 loss to Emmanuel College (Mass.) today at the Rebel Spring Games outside of Orlando.

Sophomore Bre Hart (Racine, Wis./Park) singled on a blooper to right field in the bottom of the fourth inning for the Inferno's (0-5) lone hit, and later reached base on a walk in the sixth for the only base running opportunities of the game.

The Saints, who improved to 2-2 overall, connected for seven hits versus Alverno southpaw Jamie Villalobos (Antioch, Ill.). Villalobos (0-4) picked up the loss as she allowed only one earned run due to a pair of Alverno errors, in her third complete game of the season. The Inferno's second game of the night was suspended in the bottom of the fourth, with Waynesburg leading 14-6 with two outs. Details on when the game will be completed are not yet available.
