RIVER FOREST, Ill. -- The Alverno College volleyball team was swept by host Concordia University Chicago 3-0 (25-12, 25-13, 25-22) tonight at Geiseman Gymnasium in River Forest, Ill.

The loss drops the Inferno to 0-9 on the season, including 0-3 in the Northern Athletics Conference, while the host Cougars improve to 7-5, 3-0 NAC.

Morgan Stuckey (Duncanville, Texas) led the Alverno offense with six kills, and Kellee Laske (Milwaukee/Pius XI) led the defense with seven digs.

Alverno is next in action this Friday and Saturday at a tournament hosted by Moody Bible Institute in Chicago. The Inferno open pool play versus Grace Bible College (Mich.) at 4 p.m. and then take on Northland International University at 6 p.m.
