FOND DU LAC, Wis. -- The Alverno College women's volleyball team lost their second Northern Athletics Conference match to Marian University, 3-0 (25-14, 25-12, 25-19), tonight in Fond du Lac, Wis.

The Inferno (2-12, 0-2 NAC) were led by senior outside hitter/middle blocker Rebecca Schmid (Tigerton, Wis.) who recorded six kills in the three-game match.

Defensively, junior setter Kim Reuter (Franklin, Wis.) led the way with 14 digs for Alverno.

Alverno looks to bounce back from their current eight-match skid as they host Northland Baptist Bible College (6-5) tomorrow night in Milwaukee. The Inferno lost to the Pioneers, 3-1 (25-17, 25-12, 23-25, 25-14), back on Sept. 12 in Dunbar, Wis. The non-conference match is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
