Avery Maxwell begins her second season as an assistant coach with the golf program in 2026-27.
As an assistant, Maxwell assists the head coach with recruiting efforts, practice planning, and the coordination of competitions and tournaments. She also supports player development by evaluating performance, teaching fundamentals, and fostering a positive team environment. In addition, Maxwell manages the team's social media presence across Instagram and Facebook, creating content to promote events, achievements, and program visibility.
Maxwell played for the Alverno golf team from Fall 2022 through Spring 2025, serving as the team captain in 2024-25. She holds the program record for lowest round in a two-day tournament and also ranks fifth all-time in career scoring average. She also was the Team MVP in 2024-25, also earning the Leadership Award the same year, while earning team Inferno Award honors in 2023-24.
She currently works in Ticket Operations for the Milwaukee Bucks, executing ticket operations for 43 Milwaukee Bucks games, using Archtics and mobile ticketing platforms. She is also the chair for the Milwaukee Bucks Pride Alliance.
Maxwell graduated from Alverno in May 2025 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Administration.
