2018: Played in all 19 games for the Inferno during her junior season with the team and started in 18 contests…ended the season tied for the team lead with six assists and ended the year second on the team with 12 points…was third on the team with three goals, while she also ended the year with the second most shots at 42…was tied for the team lead in penalty kick goals with one…opened the season with one goal and one assist on four shots in the team’s win over Iowa Wesleyan (9/2)…had a season-best four points with one goal and a season-high two assists in action versus Eureka (9/7)…tallied a goal in her third-straight game to start the season against Monmouth (Ill.) (9/9)…had solo shots in back-to-back games versus Blackburn (9/15) and Finlandia (9/16)…took nine shots in the team’s win over Mount Mary (9/30)…tallied an assist in league play against Illinois Tech (10/6)…added another assist against Edgewood (10/17)…took five shots in the team’s matchup with Lakeland (10/20)…added five more shots and notched one assist in the team’s regular season finale against Rockford (10/27).
2017: Saw time in all 19 of the team’s games during her sophomore season…made 18 starts on the year and finished the season third on the team with one goal…ended the year fourth on the team with 19 shots…made her collegiate soccer debut and scored her first career goal as she took four shots in the team’s win over Crown (Minn.) (9/1)…took a season-high five shots in the team’s matchup at Rockford (9/24)…added four shots in the team’s game with Mount Mary (10/7)…collected one shot in the team’s home game versus Concordia Wisconsin (10/25).
2016: Attended Alverno but did not play soccer for the Inferno as a freshman.
High School: Graduated from Riverside High School in Milwaukee in 2016…was a four-year student-athlete for the Tigers as a member of the soccer team…was an All-Conference Soccer player and was also voted Most-Improved…served as a team captain as a senior…also played four season of volleyball while in high school.
Personal: Daughter of Shor Thao and Yong Doua Vang…has 11 siblings; Doua, Kia, Maiyia, Bao, Ma, Yong, Ong, Mai Youa, Ser, and Tou Nong…is majoring in Kinesiology while at Alverno and plans to go to grad school upon earning her degree from Alverno.
