Rob Orcholski joined the Alverno soccer staff in the winter of 2026 and will begin his first season with the team in the fall.
Rob has extensive experience as a soccer coach and athletic administrator, spanning over 25 years in both youth and collegiate environments. Most recently, Rob served as the American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO) Region 396 Commissioner, training and assisting coaches in developing “age-appropriate” children's soccer skills with teams in Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin. Before that, he served as the AYSO Area A Coach Administrator with the same responsibilities. Rob also worked in Southern California as the AYSO Section 11 National Coach/Trainer, training future and existing coaches on how to properly develop children who want to experience the game of soccer. Before this, he worked for ten years as the AYSO Area K Coach Administrator, working with over 78 soccer teams with athletes ages 5 to 25.
Rob also worked as an Area Instructor at the University of Southern California, Irvine, and at California State University, Fullerton, in addition to his duties with AYSO.
Rob was a four-year Varsity Letterman in soccer at Fountain Valley High School, in Fountain Valley, California, and went on to play collegiately for two years at both Orange Coast College and Northern Arizona University.
