Jordan Engel joined the Alverno soccer coaching staff and wrapped up her first season as a member of the team's leadership working primarily with the team's goalkeepers.

During her first season assisting on the staff, Engel helped develop the goaltending skillset of freshman goalkeeper Makenzie Bermudez who ended the season among the national leaders with 232 saves.

Engel was a four-year goalkeeper for fellow Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference member Marian University, where she was a part of the team from 2009 through 2012 before graduating in 2013.

During her playing career at Marian, she saw time in 43 contests with all of those coming in goal for the Sabres. She amassed 117 career saves and yielded just 24 goals while playing over 600 minutes during her career. Engel still holds the career record for goals against average at Marian with a career 1.19 GAA.

In addition to her career goalkeeping statistics, Engel also scored one goal in her career coming her senior season in the team's overwhelming victory over Maranatha on October 23 of the 2012 campaign.

Currently, Engel is a second grade teacher in the Milwaukee suburbs and is also involved in coaching youth soccer and basketball.

Engel graduated from Marian University in 2013 with a degree in Early Childhood Education.
